Archie Fox and Jim Smith won their first open races in the Sharpness-Gloucester Tow Path races. In the 16 mile race Fox led from the gun increasing his lead throughout to win in 1 Hour 48 minutes 58 seconds. Recent signing Graeme Brand was 10th in 2:24:22.

Over 40 veteran James Smith adopted the same front running tactics in the 50 Kilometre to win the out and back event with club mate Dan Nurse finishing eighth.

16 Mile: 1 Archie Fox 1:48:58 & 10 Graeme Brand 2:24:22. 48 ran.

50 KM: 1 James Smith V/40 4:18:38 & 8 Dan Nurse V/40 5:13:55. 33 ran.
