Severn Athletic Club’s Dave Lander continued his return to racing. Competing in his first Half Marathon for six years, he finished in 30th place and was second over 50 in the Forest Of Dean Trails event in 1:28:50. He was followed up by new club mate Dave Howells(V50) finishing in 114th in 1:38:15 & finally Neil Taylor(V40) 153rd in 1:41:36. 832 ran.
At the Croydon Half Marathon Rich Brown was 23rd in 1:29:40. 222 ran.James Rose was disappointed to miss the 17 minute barrier when 15th in 17:07 in the first race of the Hereford 5K series. 138 ran.
In the Great Yarmouth Outdoor Open Track Meeting Akinola Kehn-Alafun won his 60 metre race in a time of 8.5 seconds.
