New member Adrian England @ Kingsway parkrun

Two of Severn Athletic Clubs newest members led the club home in the Kingsway Parkrun 5K. Andy Munro(V45) placed 4th in 19:53 followed by Adrian England, 13th in 21:27. John James(V65) was 112th in 31:00. 239 ran.

Andy Monro also represented England at the Interland 2018 Orienteering championships. England ended up being narrowly beaten by the Belgian (Flanders) team which was held on 11 March in the woods and dunes of Herperduin, near Oss in North Brabant (Netherlands). Interland takes place annually between England, two Belgian teams (Flemish and French speaking), the Dutch, and a NE France team. Teams, 42 strong, include athletes from 14 classes across the age groups M/W14 to M/W60.

Crystal Palace Parkrun: 7th Rich Brown 20:05. 164 ran.

At the Gloucester City Parkrun, newest member Pratik Pradhan was run director at the 3rd event which had Severn members finishing in:- 20th Neil Taylor(V45) 25:35, 21st Andy Brown(V55) 25:36 & 49th Sandra Brown(LV55) 30:04. 89 ran.

City runners are encouraged to enter the Seventy First Tredworth Easter Monday Road Race from its new hosting venue at the Pilot Inn Hardwicke. Entrants must be 14 or over, a city resident or a member of a city running club. Registration from 10:30 at the Pilot Inn. Entrants from out of Gloucester running clubs are not eligible.
