Severn Athletic Club’s recent signing Steve Kenyon led the club home for the third consecutive race in the Frampton 10K.

He ran in the second group of runners until half way behind the leading three of winner Lee Stopford(Stroud AC) 31:49, second Ben Price(Western Tempo) 32:04 & Richard Dare(Western Tempo) 33:10.

Kenyon’s calculated pace proved wise, as he progressed in the second half of the race to fifth with three Kilometres to go, 75 metres behind John Parker(Western Tempo). Kenyon closed the gap and sprinted past to take fourth place in 33:43.

Severn’s Iron Lady Tracey Brenton completed Iron Man UK in Bolton. Last year she came off the bike so she’s dusted herself off and smashed it this time round. If at first you don’t succeed be like Tracey.

She finished in a overall time of 15:20:34. 17th in the LV45 category & 72nd female overall.
