Severn Athletic Club’s members all had good runs at the Westonbirt Half Marathon with two in the top five Veteran 40 age group, a personal best and an excellent job of pacing 2 hours along with fasting for Ramadan.
Westonbirt Half Marathon: 11 Dan Nurse 4/V40 1:29:30, 15 James Smith 5/V40 1:31:43, 118 Sam Watts LV40 2:05:18 PB & 100 Imran Hassanjee 2:00:07 (Pacer). 200 ran. Winner James Everett V40 1:20:57.
All Gloucester Athletic Club and Severn Athletic Club results and records 1962-2020 will be deposited in the Archive’s at the Heritage Hub in Alvin Street and be available to view from June 23rd. The results include many area and national events between 1977 and 1994. The city organised many road races and track events which attracted the nations top athletes.
