In the latest of the Pomphrey 5K race series, Severn Athletics developing young athlete Alex Rawlings (u17) continued his progression this year by winning the event for the 1st time and becoming the youngest person to do so to date. Alex finished 52 seconds ahead of GaryO’Brian (Swindon Harriers) in a time of 15:40. He was backed up by club mates Chris Brown who finished in 12th place with a time of 17:29 and finally in 76th pace Greg Leyshon (v60) in 23:37.
