Severn Athletic Club’s former world masters marathon champion Les Davis continues to win road race series titles. In the final race of the Rose Inn 4 Mile series he won his Vet70 age category securing victory in the four race series.

Alex Rawlings,16 year old son of Severn AC’s Emma, won the JMU17 category in the race & series.

11th Alex Rawlings(1/JMU17) 21:32, 111th Andy Brown(3/V60) 28:26, 141st Greg Leyshon(V65) 30:25 & 142nd Les Davis(1/V70) 30:26. 212 ran

Brean Down Challenge Multi-Terrain 10K: 1st Alex Rawlings(1/MU20) 37:27, 31st Les Davis(1/V70) 53:14 & 42nd Emma Rawlings(LV45) 55:48. 95 ran.

In the Bredon’s Hardwick Open Water Sprint Distance Triathlon, Neil Taylor finished 77th in 1:28:44 with split times of 16:48 for the Swim, 47:41 for the 24km Bike & 21:26 the 5km Run.


Cirencester: 14 Andy MONRO VM45 21:39. 205 ran.

Gloucester City: 10 John WITHERS 1/VM55 20:13, 16 Pratik PRADHAN VM45 20:36(course PB) & 114 Megan PARTRIDGE SW25 31:00. 185 ran.

Gloucester North: 1 David HOWELLS 1/VM50 20:13. 101 ran.

Kingsway: 4 David CLARKE 2/VM45 19:35. 213 ran.
