Severn Athletic Club’s team captain James Rose won the Over 40 Veterans prize at the Frampton 10K finishing 12th in 35:43. The race was won by Lee Stopford(Stroud & District AC) in 32:23. Other Severn finishers were: 14th Chris Brown 36:51, 48th Dave Howells(V50) 40:22, 54th Adrian England(V40) 41:07, 96th Kevin Probyn(V50) 45:28, 139th Greg Leyshon(V60), 145th Les Davis(2/V70) 48:43, 149th Andy Brown(V60) 48:40, 173rd Emma Rawlings(LV45) 50:28, 192nd George Scully(V60) 52:11 & 454th John James(V60) 1:15:17.

On the warmest day of the year so far Severn Athletic Club entered a team in the 103 mile, 10 stage, off-road Cotswold Relay Race from Chipping Campden to Bath Abbey. Provisional Results: Severn AC, 7th Senior Men Team & 18th overall in 16:09:16. The race was won by Bristol & West AC men’s team in 12:55:21. 103 teams started.
