Severn Athletic Club members were prominent in a busy week of local distance running.

Chris & Meg @Berkeley 10K

Competing in her first ever 10K road race in Berkeley, Megan Partridge was hoping to finish under 60 minutes and ended up finishing in 269th place with a time of 54:35.

Berkeley 10K: 7th Chris Brown 35:46, 52nd Tim Perkins 40:35, 54th Dave Howells(V50) 50:33, 140th Greg Leyshon(V65) 46:24(seasons best), 148th Darren Ridgley(V40) 46:45, 152nd Kevin Probyn(V50) 46:50, 242nd George Scully(V65) 52:49, 250th Rob Cytlau(V65) 53:04 & 383rd John James(V65) 76:36. 386 ran.

Dave Howells @Glos 10K

At the Gloucester City 10K veteran Dave Howells continued his best ever form finishing as 1st Vet50 with a time of 39:53 and was 21st overall. Alex Jenkins achieved a new personal best finishing in 42nd place with a time of 42:11 and new member Marc Edgeworth (v40) finished in 61st place with a time 44:53.
