Severn Athletic Club members were prominent in a busy week of local distance running.

Competing in her first ever 10K road race in Berkeley, Megan Partridge was hoping to finish under 60 minutes and ended up finishing in 269th place with a time of 54:35.

At the Gloucester City 10K veteran Dave Howells continued his best ever form finishing as 1st Vet50 with a time of 39:53 and was 21st overall. Alex Jenkins achieved a new personal best finishing in 42nd place with a time of 42:11 and new member Marc Edgeworth (v40) finished in 61st place with a time 44:53.
