Severn AC’s Vet 50 athlete Gary Hope represented the club in this years London Marathon finishing in a time of 2 hrs 54 min 16 sec to place him 59^th in his age category and also set a new 50-54 age group club record for the marathon. Matt Atkins ran in aid of the Dementia Revolution dressed as Super Ted and finished in 4:02:40

Other London Marathon finishers were Nick Gaulder 3:43:45 and Imran Hasanjee 4:15:19

At the Shakespeare Marathon in Strarford, club athlete Barry Thomas (v45) finished with a time of 4:07:55 and finished in 301st place

Club Vice Captain Dave Howells (v50) finished in 28th place at this years challenging ‘Sea 2 Summit’ Half Marathon in 3:13:37

At the West Prom 5 mile race on Thursday, Chris Brown finished in 10th place with a time of 28:39. Finishing overall in 5th place in the six race series

Finally representing their city districts in the Tredworth 4.3 mile Easter road race from the Pilot Inn runners from Severn Athletic Club placed
