Severn’s James Rose led the senior men’s team home when 28th in 34:43 at the Gloucestershire Cross Country League Race 3 at Wotton-Under-Edge. In 43rd & 1/V50 Gary Hope ran 35:37, 47th Chris Brown in 36:00, 80th Dave Lander(V50) 38:10, 95th Dave Howells(V50) 39:18 & 140th Andy Brown(V60) 42:31 completing the scorers. With Neil Taylor(V45) 43:17 & 188th Victor Marques(V45) 48:25 backing up their team mates. 192 ran.

In the senior Ladies & Men’s Vet 65 race Les Davis was 82nd & 1/V75 in 31:10, 85th Tracey Brenton(LV45) 31:15, 86th Emma Rawlings(LV45) 31:18, club debutante Faye Chandler 103rd in 32:49, 110th Greg Leyshon(V65) 33:29 & 136th Sandra Brown(LV55) 38:40. 142 ran.

In the Men’s U17/U20 race Alex Rawlings was 2nd & 1/U17 in 22:24. 10 ran.

Severn Athletic Club finished 10th of the 21 teams in the senior men’s race & 26th of the 31 teams in the senior ladies race The men’s vet team finished 5th of the 16 teams & the vet ladies team were 16th of the 19 teams.

At the Telford 10K Dave Clarke(V45) was 408th of the 1242 runners in 39:18

Gloucester North: 3rd Dave Howells(1/V50) 20:40. 101 ran.

Kingsway: 30th Greg Leyshon(1/V65) 24:57, 31st Andy Brown(3/V60) 24:58, 42nd Faye Chandler(VW35) 25:55, 51st George Scully(3/V65) 26:27, 96th Sandra Brown(2/VW55) 29:32 & 150th John James(V65) 43:04. 154 ran.
