In Lanzarote, Andrew Brown competed in the 10K disco night race in Arrecife and won the 1st vet 60 and over 50 finishing 50th place in a time of 41:17. Eldest son Richard finished in 26th place in a time of 38:21. The race was won by Saul Castro Santana is a time of 30:59. 274 ran.
Sandra Brown competed in the 5k event and finished 2nd Lady v55 in a time of 29:35. The 5k was won by Tuguaro Quintero Del Rosario in a time of 15:35. 773 ran.
Severn AC vice captain James Rose narrowly missed out on his target of a sub 17 minute 5k this year in the Hereford 5k road race series, placing 16th in a time of 17:02.
Chris Brown was 1st at the Glos City Parkrun for the 1st time finishing in a time of 17:49, a new PB on the new 4 lap course.

Severn AC will be holding a 5k race on the 31st of May at the Pilot Inn, Hardwicke at 19:30 on what will be a flat and fast course. Current course record is held by Tim Dalton (Severn AC) in a time of 14:51 set in 2007. Entry is limited to 60 Pre-entries, this closes on May 25th. Entries can be made by post to Terry Haines, 48 The Triangle, Longlevens, Gloucester, GL2 ONG. Entries cost £5 affiliated and £7 unaffiliated.
