Severn Athletics Club Chris Brown capped an excellent series of performances in the Weston Prom 5 Mile series finishing in seventh place in the final race in 28 minutes and 40 seconds. He was fourth place overall in the series rankings, his best performance was 3rd in 27 minutes and 34 seconds. Club mate Adrian England made his debut at this event and distance, finishing in 46th place in a time of 32 minutes and 20 seconds.

In the Dave McNamee Memorial 10K, Greg Leyshon (v65) finished in 60th place in a time of 49 minutes and 36 seconds. Overall winner was Tim Carter (Bourton Road Runners) in a time of 35 and 53 seconds.

Parkrun performances this week were slowed by the cold and wet underfoot conditions.
