
Severn Athletic Club completed a hat trick of team victories in the Dymock half Marathon.
Improving Dan Nurse led the team home. He headed the field over the first nine miles of the demanding undulating course. John Hand(Almost Athletes) passed him opening up a significant gap which Nurse’s finishing effort couldn’t effect. Nurse finished second in 1:27:58, a best open race placing and gave him victory in the Over 40 veteran category. Hand won in 1:25:11.
Severn Ladies team placed third & in the 5 Mile supporting race the men’s team completed a successful day for the club finishing third as well.
