The return to socially distanced competitive racing was welcome news for Severn Athletic Club runners.
In the first race of the Hereford Couriers 5K series, 18 year old Alex Rawlings overcame a heavy fall on loose gravel to place 10th in 15 minutes 18 seconds, a PB by 22 seconds.
With a top 50 finish, Sebastian Clarke placed 43rd in 16:37. In 86th, his dad Dave finished 2/V50 in 17:44 (PB). With Dave Howells(V50) 137th in 19:15, Greg Leyshon 256th completed the Severn runners finishing 2/V70 in 23:23. 366 ran.
