
Severn Athletic Club’s 16 year old star Alex Rawlings added another area cross-country medal to the silver he won three weeks ago when representing Severn AC in the Midland Cross-Country Championships. Representing Gloucestershire in the South West Senior Schools County Championships in Bournemouth, he won bronze in the senior boys 6KM race. It was almost a silver but he was outsprinted in the final metres by Johnny Livingstone( Devon), both clocking 22:45. The race was won by Oliver Smart (Devon) in 22:25. 67 ran. He will now go on to represent Gloucestershire at the English Schools Championships in Liverpool on March 14th.
