Dave Howells of Severn AC continued his progression in the sport by finishing 5th overall & 1st Male V50 in the Trailmania 10K series which was held during the months of June & July with an overall time of 2:58:35. The Series consisted of 3 10K Trail races that were held on challenging courses in Cranham, Sesley and Nailsworth.
In the final Bitton Summer 5K Road Race Chris Brown finished fourth in 17:22. He finished second overall in the 4 race series. Dad Andy was 32nd in 20:11 securing him the series V/60 title. Mum Sandra finished 70th in 29:37, securing her the series LV/55 title.
At the Forest Of Dean Trails Marathon Dave Howells(V50) was 30th in 3:41:55(PB) and Neil Taylor(V45) was 59th in 3:54:36. 250 ran.
At the Bugatti 10K Road Race Neil Taylor(V45) was 49th in 44:38 and Greg Leyshon(2/V65) was 90th in 48:46. 270 ran.
At the Standish Woodland Chace Adrian England was 25th in 1:13:26. 35 ran.
In the weekend Parkruns Les Davis set yet another Vet 75 course record in the Gloucester City event with grandson Alex Rawlings(JM15-17) running a course PB. At Kingsway Andy Munro and Victor Marques returned to competitive action with good runs.

Gloucester North: 15th Neil Taylor(V45) 23:30. 102 ran.
Kingsway: 7th Andy Munro(V45) 19:26, 21st Victor Marques(V45) 21:46 & 39th Adrian England 23:31. 235 ran.
