Severn Athletic Club’s Chris Brown continues to improve his personal bests. In the Weston 5 Mile Prom Race he made podium for the first time finishing third in 27:34 an improvement of 15 secs on his PB. His dad Andy(V55) finished 71st 33:18. 301 ran.
Three days later he lined up for the Bourton 10 Kilometres. With team mate James Rose they settled in just behind the leaders. At half way Brown moved away from Rose improving to 9th in 34:25, another PB by 17 seconds. Rose ducked under 35 minutes for the first time in three years clocking 34:53 for 14th place.
